In 1996, the company's predecessor - JiangCheng Lishen Stainless Steel Products Manufacturing Co.,ltd was founded. In the same year, “巧媳妇”Chinese and English logo were put into use and SMART WIFE established their corporate visionin - "A World Famous Chinese Cutlery Brand" and proposed to create "Talent, Technology & Brand" three main development objectives.
In 1997, their first products "T-101", "T-102" were put into market and won a good market response with supplying falled short of demand. Thus, SMART WIFE has been opening a prosperous marketing journey.
In 1998, SMART WIFE gaind the "Agriculture Department Comprehensive Quality Management Standard Certificate" awarded by the Agriculture Ministry of China. In the same year, SMART WIFE products were aproved with international standards logo.
In 1999, SMART WIFE was honored as "Private Technology Enterprises in Guangdong Province" and "Jiangcheng Lishen Stainless Steel Products Manufacturing Co.,ltd" was officially renamed as "Yangjiang SMART WIFE Kitchenware Manufacturing Co., Ltd".
In 1997-2000, the enterprise was continuously honored as "Quality Trustworthy Enterprise" & "Contract-Honoring & Faith-Keeping Enterprise". During the Period, the company had been extending their rent plant for five times.
The end of 2000, SMART WIFE's 30,000 square meters standardized industrial plant where located in Nahuo Industrial Zone was first put into use which marked the enterprise's entry of a new era.

In 2007, the company became a " European Information Center Registered Supplier"
